Hand inked and printed original collagraph of a tansy beetle. Hand coloured with acrylic shimmer inks.
Limited edition of 12 – every piece is inked up individually by hand so there will always be subtle differences making each one unique.
Collagraph prints are created using collage blocks which are inked up like an etching plate. The plate is then but through a printing press with damp paper. This leaves a beautiful embossed image. To view a short video about how collagraph prints are made, click here.
