Description
Chance to own a unique part of the printing process. This blue tit collagraph plate is the original piece of artwork that is used to create prints. This plate is made from Tetra Pak packaging which has been engraved. Ink is then rubbed into the indentations and applied to the surface. The collagraph prints are created by putting the inked up plate through a printing press with damp paper. This leaves a beautiful embossed image, the prints can be viewed here.
The plate has been glued to Saxton 180gsm acid free paper.
Collagraph size 6 x 6 inches, frame size is 8 x 8 inches.
Bought unframed it will fit in a 8 x 8 inch frame.
All prints are posted in secure, flat packaging. The packaging is plastic-free and made from eco-friendly materials wherever possible.
