Description
Hand inked and printed original two plate collagraph of child reading a book inside a tent under a starry sky. Part of a poem created alongside the image has been added using chine colle.
Limited edition of 15 – every piece is inked up individually by hand so there will always be subtle differences making each one unique.
Collagraph prints are created using collage blocks which are inked up like an etching plate. The plate is then but through a printing press with damp paper. This leaves a beautiful embossed image. To view a short video showing how some of this print was made, click here.
